Sew Forest of Dean provides sewing classes and workshops in and around the beautiful Forest of Dean and our aim is simple -
to get people sewing! If you are a complete beginner, we can help you get started and provide you with all the hints and
tips that we have learnt along the way to get great results, right from the beginning. For those looking to further their
existing skills, we hope to offer you a wide variety of
courses and workshops to challenge you and introduce you to new ideas and techniques.

       | I am fortunate to have grown up in an age where the teaching of sewing and craft was still
part of the school curriculum and I have therefore been making "stuff" since a very young age. Having completed a
professional course in Textiles I set up Sew Forest of Dean to pass on skills, techniques and knowledge to others,
from all walks of life and at all levels of sewing/textile experience. | |
       |
	    | Courses take place in a relaxed and homely environment and are usually fuelled by tea and cake! All of our classes/workshops have
restricted numbers to ensure that high quality, individual tuition is provided for each person attending. For our beginners'
courses, maximum numbers are 4 per session and
for our more experienced sewers, maximum numbers of 8 per session.
Our main areas of expertise are:
