The Cotswold Craftsmen Gallery in Market Street, Nailsworth, was established in April 2005. The Cotswold Craftsmen group, formed in the early 1970's, had previously only come together to show their work at exhibitions and shows. The gallery became their first permanent home and provides members with the opportunity to show their work for sale all year round. All our makers produce unique and individual high quality, handcrafted work and are only accepted into the group through selection. Currently, the gallery permanently shows the work of 11 of our makers with a monthly changing display from other members. There is always a wide range of varied work on show for sale including jewellery, ceramics, glasswork, woodcuts, carved walking sticks, watercolours, wickerwork and photography.

You can also find details of our other members working in other mediums at the gallery. If you can't find what you are looking for at the gallery, we can usually find someone that can meet your requirements! The gallery is manned by the makers that have their work on sale and they are happy to discuss their work and possible commissions. The gallery provides the public with a greater confidence to purchase work knowing that the makers have an established base and can be easily contacted for enquiries.

We also have a downstairs gallery which holds monthly exhibitions of non-members work and permanently shows Nick Handover's collection of paintings.

Our site also gives details of all our other shows , information about each maker and details of how the apply to join the group. We are able to accept credit and debit cards and still accept cheques! We can also arrange payments by instalment at our discretion.
